"Buddhist philosophy teaches that depression results from excessive activation that is not properly balanced by rest. "Activation" means that nonstop doing keeps our sympathetic nervous systems on high alert all the time....(many people) are very busy and rarely rest. Many are on multiple medications, and most feel significantly better--and quite a few cured of insomnia, anxiety, and depression--once they consistently practice rest practices (like sound healing and yoga nidra). You can be busy, and even occasional stress is okay and quite normal, but you must balance it with rest and relaxation--otherwise, it's a recipe for burnout."

Sound Healing Weekend Rest Retreat

Do you feel fragmented or like you need a break and time to reset? Reclaim wholeness over the course of a weekend of sound healing and where you feel cleansed, lighter, and defragmented.  You will learn techniques for true intention setting and manifestation through direct experience. Give this time to yourself to go deeper with sound, feel embodied and grounded, feel renewed, and realize greater purpose in your life.

 

This weekend will help reorganize and realign your thoughts, emotions, and beliefs in order to create a more harmonious and fulfilling inner self. This could involve letting go of negative experiences or beliefs, resolving internal conflicts, and seeking a greater sense of purpose or connection with self or higher power.

Meals and Lodging for up to 9 included. Above that number, or if you prefer to camp or have a private space, we have several tents and sleeping gear we can set up for you by the creek, or you can bring your own tent as well. For specific dietary needs, please let us know. There will be a communal kitchen, fridge, freezer, microwave, stove, and propane grill available if you need to supplement with your own food as well.

Each day Dawn co-owner of Inner Wolf Retreat Space, plays for you transporting sounds of gongs, crystal & Himalayan singing bowls, and other instruments to help the brain and body relax. Sound healing helps you rest and enter the theta brainwave state, where you regain a centered sense of Self, clarity on grappling life issues, choose lovingkindness and a deepening innerstanding of yourself, and see life from new perspectives.

Lodging and What to Expect

We have 3 simple and comfortable rooms that encourage getting back to center. There are 3 beds to a room, shared retreat style, unless you book with a partner and can be 2 to a room, depending on the number of people signed up. There is usually great synchronicity at our events and new friendships are formed. In warmer weather, we do have several tents and gear that we can set up for you to enjoy space by the creek.

There is no 5G, no TVs, although we do have cell service and WiFi if needed. Escape to the charm of rustic accommodations, where simplicity meets serenity. Nestled in nature, our cozy retreat offers a genuine escape  from the hustle, inviting you to unwind in the embrace of natural beauty. Embrace the allure of simplicity, with thoughtfully designed spaces that blend seamlessly with the surrounding environment.  Experience a retreat where rustic charm meets modern comfort, creating a unique haven for relaxation and rejuvenation.

We are also working to get a septic system installed for the overnight rooms and we have learned we have a really high water table on this land, making the septic situation more costly and complicated.....but we couldn't wait a single minute more to be able to bring our dream to life and share sound healing that helps bring more peace to your life! Until that septic solution is reached, we have 2 very clean options to meet needs comfortably--an indoor Nature's Head Composting Toilet and a CLEAN AND SERVICED WEEKLY portaloo shared only by your new friends at the retreat. The indoor composting toilet is located in the shared shower room and the portaloo is only a few steps from the rooms. All 3 rooms have an overnight chamber pot for ease at night if needed.

Our shared, indoor shower room has spa-like luxury with a rainhead and handheld showerhead, very hot water, and included eco-friendly shower products. In the summer months, we also have an outdoor shower with instant hot water designed in a spiral shape and the color purple.

These are our creative and inspiring rooms in pictures, and our very precious and prized portaloo that allows us to be able to host you comfortably. The indoor composting toilet is located in the shared shower room.

Each overnight room has its own small fridge, hot water kettle, microwave, mini split heater / a/c / dehumidifier, fan, and small keurig. We are at 3400 ft. elevation and the evenings even in the heat of summer are cool & make for very comfortable sleeping.
